Jennifer's Story
Life
Well, life after high school certainly didn't go as planned, but great friends helped me make the most of it, and now I own a home I love, and am able to help my friends and family in ways I didn't think possible. I'm focusing on the "now" and doing as much with my life and my house while I'm young, rather than trying to have a lot of money and working to do everything at 40. I want to make my life great now, so that whatever is in my cards in the future, I will be ready to accept with open arms. I work hard now, so that down the line I won't have to, and I can continue to give back to those friends and also family that I care about. If you dream it, it can be done; I'm proof. I'm going to Valencia for a pre-major in engineering, and then I plan to double major in electrical and mechanical engineeri...Expand for more
ng at UF or UCF. I'm different than I was in high school in a lot of ways, but basically I am the same person, but better at being me, if that makes any sense. I'm cool with doing my things in life, regardless of how it seems to others. I'm taking life as it comes, and trying to be patient enough to see all the hard work start to pay off. :)
Workplace
I work for McDonald's corporation where I started in Jan '98 and have climbed the corporate ladder to my current position of Assistant Manager. I worked at the Downtown Disney store for three and a half years, and then worked at the store near Disney's Animal Kingdom for another 3, before heading back to Downtown disney again. I started school in the fall for engineering, and plan to direct my career with McDonald's in that direction in the future.
