Rachael's Story
Life
I am divorced. My ex husband and I separated in September 2006 and divorced in December 2006. Since then I have been dating a man who I have known for almost ten years. He is currently residing in Columbus, OH. So far so good. Its very different being on my own for the first time in my life. I am learning a lot of new things. I have two dogs. Chieftan who is half Lab and Husky....and Clauddaugh "Claude" who is a rat terrior mix. I live in Joplin, Missouri in a home that Im buying.
School
Everyone who knows me well knows who my biggest crush is....the rest of the world will just have to guess. Looking back on school I wish that I would of came out of my shell a little more, as I was very shy. I think my happiest time was my senior year when some of us had a day where we went to Noal for the day.
I do miss the friends I did have in high school and I wished that we would of stayed in touch afterwards. I look forward to any reunions tha...Expand for more

College
After high school I attended Missouri Southern. At first I wanted to be a psychology major, however, decided in my senior year to change majors to criminal justice. I have a bachelors of science in criminal justice with minors in psychology, juvenile justice, and corrections.
I am thinking about going back to school to get my masters in criminal justice or social work, however, I do not know if I can stand to do anymore homework.
Workplace
I currently work for the Department of Social Services Children's Division. I have been there three years this December 2005. I am an alternative worker and basically my job is to help put families back togethere. If that is not possible then the team members have to find an alternative placement for the child through guardianship, adoption, or independent living. I enjoy my job for the most part althrough it is rather stressful at times.
