Donald Skelton:  

Left Eugene in 1962, moved to San Francisco while employed by Southern Pacific Railroad. Joined Army in 1964, Military Police, Married in January 1965. Railroad career involved many relocations, San Francisco to Stockton where son, Michael was born in 1966, Bakersfield, then San Jose where daughter Michele was born in 1969. In Fresno had the privilege of joining Sunnyside Country Club and recorded first three holes in one. (Now have 13) After five great years in Fresno promoted to new job in St Louis Missouri where in 1986 completed my Master Degree at Washington University. Two years on merger and transition team working on the consolidation of Southern Pacific and Santa Fe Railroad’s, moved to Chicago and joined Santa Fe Railroad as Sr. Vice President when merger was denied by Interstate Commerce Commission. Turned 50 and retired in Chicago, opened Consulting Company and then recruited back into railroad industry for five years working with Illinois Central Railroad. When IC purchased by Canadian National decided to relocate to Naples Florida and return to consulting world. Spent a few years developing Internet company, working for a chemical B2B start-up before joining Raymond James as financial advisor. Five years enough money management and back to consulting.
