Sharon's Story
Life
Since our last high school reunion, in 1995, I have increased my family by two, (I now have 7 children, 2 daughters and 5 sons, ages 32 to 12)two granddaughters. I was a financial advisor from 2000 to 2008. In May, 2006 I married Allen Blickley (I met him at church). We bought a home in Middleville in 2007. The house was built in 1895, but is in excellent condition. My husband is a Disabled Vietnam Veteran, and in 2008 I decided to quit working outside the home to spend more ...Expand for more
time with him. I am now answering the phone for an insurance company at home. Allen adopted my youngest son, Lucas (12) last year, and his grandson, AJ (17) came to live with us last month. I am enjoying being semi-retired, although I think I am busier now than I was when I worked 50 hours a week at John Hancock! Most of my children live in West Michigan. My son, Nick (23) lives in Georgia. He is a Marine.
I am looking forward to seeing more classmates at our 35th class reunion.
