Raymond's Story
Hello friends,
I have been blessed with a lovely wife, Ann, and two great daughters, Crescent and Arielle, now in their twenties.
I am most fortunate to be doing work that is always challenging, stretches me to be my "best self", and can be very fulfilling. Oh, yeah, it is often stressful! I am what NJ calls a Substance Awareness Coordinator---doing alcohol/drug counseling and prevention programming in the schools. The kids call me "Dr. D." (at least to my face). (Ph.D. from Ohio State after Oberlin)
I still coach soccer, and am reasonably healthy.
As you would expect from me, I have approached my life very seriously, and am overall qui...Expand for more
te pleased and content. Many of my passions still burn strongly, and I anticipate no less. I have enjoyed many wonderful travels and occasions.
Knowing teenagers very well (I work with them intensively every day, also advising two peer leader programs at my high school), I know we really were an exceptional class!
I was excited to talk with many of us at our 2001 reunion...even some who I had not considered friends...we all have changed some, and and yet are who we were in important ways.
and then 9/11, and Lee Adler's death hit hard ( I had sat next to him at the dinner and reconnected). So we treasure what and who we have...
