Alan's Story
Life
My Spouse
Cathy and I met at Woolco Dept store on Waverly road. We were both going through some low points in our lives and started out as best friends. We'll have been together 23 years in April of 2001.
My Pets
Curly Sue is a black cocker spaniel that we saved from the pound. We just adopted a Lhasa Apso that some people found along side the road and was in terrible shape. We've named her Honey and she is recovering at the present time. We have two cats, Mouzer and Coco. Coco weighs in at 20+ lbs. and Mouzer is neurotic.

he's going to have on the road when he is sixteen and gets the final license. Chris was and Jon is active in sports in school. Between them they've played basketball, football, golf and baseball.
My Job
I am a special education teacher. I worked at the State Hospital in Kalamazoo on the childrens unit. I went back to school to get my teaching certifiate and have been teaching for 7 years. I work with the same type of students that I worked with at the hospital. My room (in the Kalamazoo Pub. Schools) is the go between institutions and the public schools. I get the students whose behavior makes them unsuccessful in other special education rooms. I love it!
