Life I think that life is a persistent state of managed discord. It has been that way most of my life, starting with my messy room as a kid. Now that I share that room with my lovely wife, it can no longer be in as much discord as it once was. We have three awesome kids. Christiana (2/7/99), Zachary (6/21/01) and Benjamin (5/23/03). I figured that it would be best to have as many children before the ages of 30 so that we were not going to high school graduations in our 50’s and 60’s. It seemed to get this part of our lives behind us as soon as possible. I think that we have taken some opposition for our beliefs since most of our peers are DINKS (dual income, no kids). It does not seem to be very common to have three plus kids anymore, be younger than 30 and doing something with your life. Kids have been made to equal poverty. And while they are completely dependant on their parents, I feel that societal norms dissuade people from having any more than one child, waiting until they are over 40, or none at all.
