Cynthia's Story

Hi To Whoever Reads This, I don't know if it is the getting older (which in my heart I'm 30 forever, LOL) or the fact it is almost a new year. While taking my sister, Karen, back to Enfield, CT, I visited quite a few old friends and acquaintances. I realized how much I wanted to find out what was going on with everyone else. What many of you probably never knew when I moved in at the end of 8th grade was that I moved all my life and never had long term friends. I envied all of you that had the long term friends. I didn't like belonging to cliques and was my own drummer. ( I was more like the mother type taking care of friends that got into trouble:) Laura M (in my homeroom) went to school with me in Michigan and then MA. Karen B ended up living within 2 miles of me when I lived in Scottsville, NY. Small world. It was awesome having dinner with Mona Davis and Rick...Expand for more
Wingard and catching up on some of our old friends that were mutual friends. Heard about a lot of losses that quite a few of us experienced. Even though my husband passed in 2008 you never forget but the memories are very sweet. I work for the Monroe County and just started working at the Conflict Defenders Office in Rochester, NY which is very interesting work. Love to travel and visit different lakes, etc. NY state has a bunch of awesome lakes with gorgeous views. Hopefully some of you will share what you have been up to. I'm trying to catch up with some of my Latin Class (Mrs. Dudley) classmates. I have located a handful of them. Eventhough she tough we had some great people in that class that made it easier. If anyone knows where Mary Harney or Kelly Stoler ended up would like to contact them. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Here's to many more years!
