Andrew's Story
Life
I never thought that I would be a single guy at this age. I always expected that I would have found the significant other, settled down and raised a family.
Life does not always happen the way we would like to have it. Yet many lives have touched mine in significant ways, I see that in the lives of children that I teach in Sunday School and in the people that I work with. I am grateful for that.
I live in the same house that I grew up in, but there have been changes. The great one was in 2004 with the demolition and replacement of a single car garage and driveway with a 2 car garage and driveway. More changes are coming...
The oak end table in the attached photo was just recently restored by me. It is possible that it might be 100 years old or more.
College

f what I really learned there was outside of the classroom. The Lutheran campus ministry at University Lutheran Church had a great pastor by the name of Lou Smith who was like a second father to me. Much of what I had learned there as a young man has been real for me today.
I was also involved with things in Towers Residence Hall which included the President's Board (residence hall council for a huge dorm). I made a lot of firiends and did many things which I might not have had opportunity to do elsewhere.
Workplace
Kolbe & Kolbe has been a good employer but I sometimes feel that I can offer more with my skills. I had been on the same job for more than 15 years now and I need to get into some place where I can grow.
I am a skilled photographer, but not perfect. I have eyes that see. Photography is a means of telling others what I see and how I see it.
