Mark's Story

Life Hi, I'm down at St. Paul's Parish in Belleview, Florida. I'm a priest in the National Catholic Church and pastor of this parish (as difficult as it may be to understand, it's real). ou who knew me way back when could fill this in better than I can. College In highschool I was looked upon as an insane crazy jock idiot. I fulfilled that role in college. Workplace Being a priest is far more involved than people might think. I wear many hats to help solve the problems of the less fortunate and those seeking some sort of help. My favorite part of the vocation is preaching. It's great having family nearby, because they are also a big part of the church. I believe part of the reason I'm here is to shake things up in the religious world. The institution of religion has grown very stale and almost lifeless in some way. I don't do the jump up and down Pentecostal type service, but I do tap my foot from time to time.
