After leaving wonderful Panama City, Florida I went to UF where I found dorm life was not conducive to studying - and we all know I was never known for doing my scolastic achievments! I moved to Clearwater, Florida and attended St. Pete Junior College which worked out marginally - I left school at the end of my first year and went to work. After a year of working I realized the importance of an education so I went beck to UF (sucessfully this time) but had to leave before finishing my degree due to familiy and financial issues. I began working with a Physical Therapy company in nursing homes around Hillsborough and Pinellas counties as a rehab aid - rewarding work, but not glamorous or high paying! In 1995 I began working for Dunn & Bradstreet in their "Plan Services" division as a claims examiner and I have worked through the ranks of the health insurance industry to end up as a System Benefit Analyst specializing in Medicare and Medicaid managed care.
