Michael's Story
Life
Hey,I graduated from Prince George High in Virgina but will always think of Frankfurt American High School as my high school.Class of 79.In frankfurt I was in the concert band, JROTC(drum&bugel corps commander)At Prince George I was in the concert and marching band.
After high school I bummed around for a couple of years then got married and went into the army in 82.Got out in 85 and moved back to VA where I work as a mechanic/State inspector. I have been married 3 times.I have a son David age23 a stepson David age 29 a stepdaughter Angel age 32 a grandaughter Kayla age 12(going on 30)and a grandson Jacob age 6.My wife and I have been together for 13 years and married for the last 9 years and still act like newlyweds LOL
Would really like to get in contact with some of the old gang. and I have been in contact with some recently.
I will be a grampa again soon . My son and his fiancee are expecting their son Devin Michael Maillard to be born around the 25th of March 2007.

Workplace
After high school I bumed around several jobs as a cook /dishwasher
truck driver ,bouncer then went into the army for 3 years. When I got out of the army (while in I was a cook and trained in reasturant management and was training to be a chef.)no one wanted to pay much for a cook so I decided that if I was going to get minimum wage to do something new and became a mechanic. For the past 17 years have been working as a mechanic and a state auto safety inspector. Before becoming a mechanic I also worked as a roofer, bartender and bouncer and managed acouple of resturants and bars.
Military
In Mar. of 82 I went to basic training at Ft Knox KY.D-18-4
Upon completion of basic went to Ft Lee VA for cooks school then to jump school.
From there went to Ft Ord,CA and TDY perm.2years to Ft Hunter Leggett,CA CEDAC,TRADOC was released from active duty in March of 85 and honorably distcharded in March of 88.At the rank of E-4 had just passed my E-5 board and was waiting on stripe when got out. When I got out it was because I was kind of tired of military life. I had been around it since the day I was born my father was a retiree of 26 years. The military was good to us it takes a special type of person to do it for 20 or more years. I felt like I had also served over 20 with my dad and loved it was just tired of moving around.
