Rosalinda's Story
Life
Graduated in January '76 (the fortunate graduates!). Since graduation, I got hired for the Imperial County Auditor, and at 20, got married and moved to Los Angeles. Never moved back to El Centro. I have 3 children and a step-son. My children are Kris Anthony (30), Rosa (26), and Michelle (19), step-son Maurice (35). After 22 yrs of marriage, I got divorced. So I am single again! I did go back to college several years ago and got an A.S. in Computer Information Systems and a B.S. in Business Management. Better late than never, right??? My son Kris graduated from Cal State Northridge with a BA in Filmmaking and he has a 2 yr old daughter Fiona. Rosa has an AA in Liberal Arts and currently attending Portland State for her degree in Psychology. She also got married in February 2009. Michelle graduated from high school in 2007 and is living back in California. I'm so proud of them!! I moved to Portland, Oregon in 2006 and have not regretted the move since! Have had my share of problems, but I learned from them and became wiser and stronger for it.

sit once in a while since I still have family there. And every time I pass by the good old Central High School, I can't help but remember the good old days!!! Those were the days, weren't they?? I miss hearing from any of my old school mates and I'd love it if one of you would send me a few words.
Walking has been a great hobby for me in the last 5 months. When I walk, my mind becomes relaxed and free of any negativity I may have about myself or others. Plus, it has also helped me lose weight!
I'm also the Editor of the Family Newsletter which I print every month for my 10 brothers and sisters. I have been doing this for over a year now and it has grown from 1 page to easily 11 pages now! I love my new hobby because it has brought me and my siblings much closer to one another since our dear mother passed away in May 2007. I am also making plans to hosting a Family Reunion in Portland, Oregon in June 2010. Family has meant a whole lot more to me now and most everything I do includes family. If you want to leave something behind for your family, leave them the good memories of you.
