Marianne's Story
Life
After high school, I went to Rose-Hulman, an engineering school in Indiana. I met my (now) husband there 1 month after school started and we began dating 1 month later. I loved being at Rose, but I realized half way through my sophomore year that engineering wasn't for me, so I left and moved to Bowling Green and enrolled at WKU, majoring in Advertising, minoring in Computer Science.
I worked for 1 year at the law office of Flora Templeton Stuart, and when I got tired of the ambulance chasing, I worked for about a year and a half at the Daily News (newspaper) in the graphic design department. I was there until I married Adam, my college sweethea...Expand for more
rt, who had moved to San Jose, California. I moved with Adam and our cat (Miles) to California, where I worked for the first couple years at a sheet music store.
I left the sheet music store for a job at Apple Computer, working at iTunes and have been there ever since. I'm now in charge of coordinating the engineers on the content management system iTunes uses to put new content up every day, supporting about 300 computer users and about 50 engineers.
Adam and I have two cats, Miles and Deliah, and a dog, Lulu, who is a red miniature dachshund. We own a home in Mountain View, CA, a very peaceful and quaint city about an hour south of San Francisco.
