Cathy's Story

Life: Grew up in Somerville, MA. Lived up near Prospect Hill Tower and went to school at St. Joseph's. Moved to Cambridge in 1965, but continued to attend school at St. Joseph's and graduated in 1966. Attended Cambridge High and Latin School and graduated in 1970. Decided to enroll at UMASS in Boston and graduated in 1974 with a BA in Psychology & English. Married in 1986 to Allen Bourgeois (former Music teacher at CHLS). Have two children, Jackie and John. tepson, Allen who is married and lives in California and has two children, Claire and Braeden. Worked as a Project Manager in Burlington, MA and currently live in Nashua, NH. Both my husband Allen and I marched in St. Mary's Annunicators Drum & Bugle Corps and later I marched with the Somerville Annunciators (Visit the Alumni Group page on Facebook). Allen was also a member of the band "Banned in Boston". He has taught many drum corps in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
