Life
I'm Maria Carrillo now. I live in Central Stickney, IL. I work at our Sanitary District Part-time. My husband, Fortino, works as a driver/salesman for Holsum Bread which is now Sara Lee. We've lived here for 23 years. I have 4 children, Esteban, will turn 29 in Nov.. He works for Stagg High School in Palos Hills as a Techical Specialist. My son David turned 25 in August, He got married in Oct. of '04 and is currently living in London with his wife Lindsey. They both graduated from St. Xavier University in '03. His wife is teaching out there and he is some kind of international manager. Just this month, Sept. '05 he's been to Germany and Sweden on business and he'll be coming to Chicago next week, also for business, but I'll at least get to see him My son Lorenzo is 22 and is working for UPS and is going to Moraine Community College and my daughter Cristina is 20 and a Junior at Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, IL. She's majoring in History and Math and hopes to become a H.S. math teacher although she said she'll only do it for ...Expand for more
a while because she plans to study law in the evenings. She's already preparing for her LSAT's. We've had our ups and downs but I believe that our faith in God and in each other has kept us a closely knit family. Besides David, Eseban got married this July, 2005. No, we do not have any grandchildren yet.
We're expecting our first grandchild in Feb. of 2007, YEAH! Esteban and Kelly are expecting. We don't know the sex of the child because they want it to be a surprise.
WE HAVE A BEAUTIFUL GRANDDAUGHTER, BORN 2/5/07. SHE'LL SOON BE 14 MO.S OLD. DAVE AND LINDSEY HAVE COME BACK TO THE STATES. LINDSEY IS WORKING AS THE ESL DIRECTOR AT SAHS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, THE SAME SCHOOL ALL MY KIDS GRADUATED FROM. SMALL WORLD!
I think that what would surprise everyone if I ever went to a high school renunion is knowing that I was the PTA President for 2 years at my childrens' school when they were there, of course. I was always pretty shy in high school. My husband pulled me out of my shell. Oh and by the way, my granddaughter's name is Natalia Maria Carrillo.
