Sheila's Story
Since graduation, I went on to study at NCA&T State University, and left the state to relocate to New Jersey. Lived and worked in Plainfield almost all of my adult life, secured two additional degrees. Married a home boy, (Wille) Hugh Thorpe and we have two wonderful daughters. ware State University. As for me, my life has been full as I have not allowed grass to grow under my feet. I believe I am a Rennaissance Woman: teacher, drama coach, principal, a national staff developer, consultant, organizer of a charter school and a preacher/assistant pastor. (Whew!) Forgot, I am fully retired. (smile) If you can believe that. "Just having fun with this God given gift of life."
