Dorris (Smith)'s Story
Life
I was born & raised in Chicago. I attended Cook Elementery, Foster Park and Calumet High. I graduated from Calumet in 1957. I later attended Lawton Medical School in Santa Ana,Ca.and graduated from there in 1981. After graduation from Lawton, I attended Golden West College, where I took the classes to become an RN.
I lived at 86th. & Honore, when in Chicago.
I dated & later married Jim Johnson, and moved to southern Califor...Expand for more
nia. I have 4 children and 15 Grandchildren.
I always wanted to be a Nurse and did accomplish that goal.
I currently live in Santa Ana, Ca.
I am still working. I am the Director of Nursing in a Alzheimers Facility.
