Joseph's Story
Life
I got to see an Atomic Bomb go off ( explode ) at 4:30 in
the morning in Nevada while I was stationed near there.
Owned a Harley Davidson and made a harley chopper out of it and rode with a group of other bikers, we called ourselves the Bohunks A name given about the coal miners in Penn.
Got a good job as a Machinist for North American Aviation.
Started in May 1962 and rtired in June 1st 1999.
Helped make 5 Space schuttles 104 B-1 Bombers, started work on SST but gov. killed it. Worked on the Apolo space program
Explored a lot of California Mountains on a dirtbike motorcycle....Expand for more
Met a lot of movie stars, Last one was michael Duncan, we did physical theraphy for over 6 weeks 3 times a week. This guy is a real nice person and a good actor, very friendly person.
Been a Boy scout for the past 25 years and still am, Also I been made an offical Girl Scout
I am an amateur magian. I like to do magic shows for little kids up to the 4 th grade. I did one magic show for the city of Hawthorne one year. It was a special auction and there was other magians also there.
Now retired and the wife and I do some traveling now been to Hawaii. Had to go to the Navy Memorial.
