Melissa's Story
College
I went to Southeastern University in Hammond for a couple of years where I majored in Biology and was a Lionnette for 2 years. I then transferred to Our Lady Of The Lake in BTR. I majored in Emergency Health Sciences and graduated with a 4.0. I became a liscensed Paramedic and worked for EMS for several years. I have also furthered my college education and am working on a new degree.
I am currently a Nationally Licensed EMT-Paramedic, ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), PHTLS (Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support), PEPP( Pediatric Emergencies), and certified in CPR.
I am currently modeling and acting, which is what I want to pursue now. I have been modeling for about 3 1/2 almost 4 years. have wanted to do a long time so I am having fun with my career.
As far as dating, I am single at the moment. I was married and now I am currently going through a divorce.
Other than that in my spare time I dont do to much because I work a lot so I just like to kick back and watch TV or movies.
Workplace
I worked for several years as a Paramedic and then my life took a strange turn. I was discovered and asked to start modeling. I have been modeling professionally for 3 years. I get to travel all over the US. I am also a professional actress. I have done 2 independent films, the TV moive "Elvis", "Just My Luck" w/ Lindsey Lohan, "Hatchet" w/ Jason, Freddy Kruger, and Candyman, "Big Momma's House 2" and I have much more coming up. I love my job and have tons of fun doing it. I work very hard but hopefully it will pay off one day!!
