Life
Hello classmates: I was probably the only one to graduate from H-F with a secretarial major and DIDN'T have a job. I finally went to work at Peabody College just before the college year started, so naturally I had to enroll in classes. Only spent a year there and then went back to H-F to work in the Library Dept on the third floor. I married in 1954 an airman from Sewart AFB. He went to Japan (I stayed in Nashville), then we moved to Roswell, NM for two years - our daughter was born there. years, before he went to Viet Nam. Spent 4 years in Goldsboro, NC at an AFB, then moved to Alaska, been here almost 30 years. I got my Certified Professional Secretarial rating in 1982 and worked until 1988 when I retired under an early retirement program. I have since become a grandmother three times, and love that job the best. Our two children went "outside to the lower 48" to college and returned, so we are all here together. I have published two books on my husband's family history, and mine. Hope to see you all at the reunion. I will be the gray-hair one! (Hope not the only one.)
