Life My Spouse I married Domingo Sanchez (Class of '76). We met in high school and got married in 1979. We both went to New Mexico State, moved from Las Cruces to Mesa, Arizona in 1983 and returned to Santa Fe with our then 9-month old son in 1985. My Kids I have four sons--Dominic (30), Stephen (26), Matthew (23) and Patrick (20). I love having sons and being the "queen bee" at my house. We have one grandson who is 8 years old and a granddaughter on the way. There's nothing better than being grandparents! In 1993, my sister Pat (Class of '75) passed away at the age of 36. She and I had worked together in the same state agency for 8 years, so I lost my sister, co-worker and best friend all at once. It was a devastating. In 2003, I lost both my parents. My mom passed away in May and my dad in October. Although I would give anything to have them here, I feel so blessed to have been their daughter. I look forward to being with them again some day. My Job I retired as the Director of Human Resources for the Taxation and Revenue Department on September 1, 2006 (yay!). Does this mean I'm OLD?
