Brenda's Story
Life
I moved to Georgia in 1971, met my husband, Pete, and we married in 1972. We had a son in 1973 and a daughter in 1978.
My husband passed away Memorial Day 2006. He was a Viet-Nam vet.
I spend time with my 3 grandsons who are 7, 9 and 11.
I also write poetry. I have over 350 poems on Poetry.com.
I have had one of my poems published in "NAM" magazine.
I am active in church and also am a substitute teacher.
I love living in So. Georgia. Baxley is a small town and it is so peaceful and different than Florida.

I would love to find some of my friends I haven't seen in years. Hopefully I can find them here at Classmates.com.
I enjoy taking pictures of my grand-sons and scenery. I like to write poems about the pictures and ptint my poetry on the pictures.
What I miss about Florida is Clearwater Beach and my family who still live there (my parents live in Largo) and my sisters both live in Florida but in different locations.
If anyone remembers Linda Stuart, Sudie (Karen) Sessions or Bonnie Silvers, I sure would like to hear from them.
I went to school at Mildred Helms Elementary and then to Largo Jr. High. I left Largo High when we moved to Pinellas Park and graduated from Dixie Hollins.
