Michael's Story
Life
Many of you may recall that I actually left Nordhoff a year early to go to college. I still consider myself part of the class of '81, though. I left for Embry-Riddle Aeronautical Univ., but elected to change to USC when the airline industry got too rough. Graduated from SC in '85 with a Petroleum Engineering Degree and went to work for a small completions firm to handle their newly awarded contract with China. 1985. K&M Technology Group now has 11 international patents with offices in Houston and Perth Western Australia. I married Katherine Ann Hoyt in 1984 after meeting her at summer school at CSUF. We had our first son in 1985 and then another in 1986. We moved to Australia in 1992 and had another son in 1994. Our oldest are now in high school, themselves.....wow, time flies. We live in Houston now (actually, The Woodlands, just north of Houston). I would love to hear from all of you and see what you're up to.
