My life now is very different now than when I was in Harrison. I grew up basically poor and shy/withdrawn. I encourage anyone reading this who remembers me to send me a message and say hello. I went to what must have been the smallest elementary school in town - Woodland Heights. I think it was special to go to a small school at that age. There was so much personal attention. asses included French and those having to do with history and English grammar and literature. I liked going to school and my parents emphasized the importance of college. So I made good grades and got a good old ACT scholarship and went to ATU. I could have gone to U of A on a Fulbright scholarship, but Fayetteville sounded overwhelming at the time compared to Russellville. I didn't even have a car at the time. I saved U of A for law school later. All I wanted to do was get out of Harrison. And I didn't want to be poor. Focus and hard work really pay off. Now, I have to say I look forward to any reunions that may be coming so I can catch up with people. I know we have all changed so much.
