Donna's Story
Life
Hello classmates! I saw many of you at our last reunion. My how the years have slipped by! Anyway, my husband Ty & I love Florida where we've resided since 1979 (both of us finished school at USF)He is a Sturgis alumni for those of you who don't know him. We have four beautiful children ages 8, 7, 7, and 5. We are busy to say the least. Though I have a BSW, I work as a Legal Assistant for a railroad defense firm, it's great work (yes our clients are in the news a lot). We recently bought a home near my mother and the view from my front window resembles a Florida post card: Palm trees and blue sky. (I know, it's not perfect, with the Hurricanes and all, but hey, we counter that with the Gators and we're okay). Ha Ha?Anyway, I hope you are all doing well. Does anyone know where or if I could get a copy of our senior yearbook? Mine never made it to Florida.
School

he list of schools. Probably not around anymore; perhaps renamed. Then the move to Klinger Lake and the grand parental choice of White Pigeon Schools vs. Sturgis. Memories of track and basketball competitions, carnivals, and even a clacker competition in elementary school. Junior high was the beginning of cheerleading. Along with participating in every sport the school offered. High school was the ski club, glee club, choir, pep club, what else? Just about everything the school offered except the National Honor Society. Oh well, I only graduated cum laude, nothing too fancy. I did better in college. I was an Honors Graduate at USF and could have completed an MSW degree, but the life altering experience of having a child - and the reality of knowing no other accomplishment could ever surpass the miracle of life - left me hollow for achieving a graduate degree. I left school at that point and went on to have three more children. That is my school biography.
