Lisa's Story
Life
I went to Western Maryland College and majored in English and Secondary Education. I LOVED COLLEGE, and I still miss so much about it. I met my husband, Paul, when we were sophomores. We got engaged our junior year and married in June 2001. Paul was in ROTC, and is now a Captain in the Army. We moved to Ft. Knox, KY for six months. Now, we are in Ft. Benning, GA. He has been depoyed to the Middle East three times since we have gotten here, but I have made really good girlfriends here who are going through the same...Expand for more
thing. I taught sixth grade English and literature and eighth grade history in a Catholic school in town. I was awarded "teacher of the year" last year, which was one of my proudest "life moments" ever! I love teaching, and I miss doing it full-time. But, I cannot teach full time now, because Paul and I had a baby girl in July 2004. She takes up all of my time, and she is so much fun. I think about high school a lot, especially when I was teaching, and I hope all of you are doing well. Let me know what is up with you!!
