Melissa's Story
Wow so a person who was in my life quite some time ago was able to get in touch with me through here, and I thought it was time to maybe update some info. I couldn't remember what I had even had on here, it had been so long. So here it goes:
Life
I am married with 3 kids. My two girls, Erika and Jordan, are now 18 and 14. My son Riley is 6. I raised my brother who is now too old for me to mention. I'm pretty busy most of the time running kids here and there and everywhere. We are a big soccer family. Jordan keeps us very busy with her club soccer and of course the school sports. I don't know what "me" time is anymore, but honestly it's all worth it. When we are not busy with kids sports, we are at church on Sunday. Love our church. It's the only time I am ever back out in Brea. We live in Huntington Beach now, which feels like heaven, but we can't seem to leave our church. The drive is definatly worth it.They are our family. ised myself but thankful every day. i've over come some crazy tragedies but I am a strong believer that everything does happen for a reason. I am no longer the party girl, but the good girl, and some might say boring, but trust me, my life is anything but boring. This is the year i've finally decided to make changes to myself as well. I am working on getting a healthy mind, and body. I have quit smoking and working out now whenever possible. I think getting older, does things to us.
Work
I work for a fantastic landscape construction company in Orange County. I am the accounting manager and manage the office as well. I've met some great people here. Still wish I could be one of those stay at home moms, but it hasn't worked out that way and that's ok. When I am home, it's all about the kids. I still haven't found my dream job. I'm great at what I do, just not what I want to be doing forever. I do love spending other peoplese money though.
