Dawn's Story
Life
I graduated from Northeastern University, in Boston, MA in June 2003 with a Bachelor in Science and Respiratory Therapy. I have been working as a respiratory therapist at UMASS Medical Center in Worcester since I was a student and I love my job. I work mainly as a pediatric ICU therapist but also float to other parts of the hospital at times. There is never a dull moment. I love being back in MA and being able to go to the beach and I live 15 minutes from a ski resort, which is wonderful. I recently just got married (Sept 2006) to a guy I met shortly after I moved back to MA.

a lot of people since leaving high school. If you get a chance, drop me a few lines. Now that I am through with college, I have a little more time on my hands and would like to reconnect with everyone.
Workplace
I am currently working at UMASS Memorial Medical Center. I have been working there since I was a student therapist and love it. UMASS is a Level 1 trauma center, so my job is usually pretty demanding, but I love it because it is very rewarding and everyday is a new journey. I am constantly challenged because I deal with pediatrics (newborns-18 yrs) and adults. I see everything from birth to open heart surgery and transplants.
