Len's Story
Hi to all my old buddies and friends,
It's been a long and joyful ride since Steveston High School.
Here it is in a nut shell as well as I can remember the fun...
While most of the gang went on to UBC or SFU. I took a more trade
related route to BCIT - Vocational College. I graduated with
a good working knowledge of electronics and radio. My first step
to working on my passion - Airplanes.
Next I took the biggest step of my life up to that point by leaving home,
family, and friends - an adventure by bus to Montreal. The ride was 3
days and 3 nights of which I did not sleep. A...Expand for more

in Montreal I knew that this was the place for me, something I felt inside that changed
my life forever. That feeling has never left me. A true sense of happiness
and home, although I knew ABSOLUTELY NO ONE. (This changed very quickly.)
Of course it helped by arriving in Montreal, July 10th 1967 In the middle of
EXPO 67 and that I had a job interview in 3 days.
They must have felt sorry for me, coming all that distance for a job. So Air Canada
hired me. And the rest as they say is history. Will leave the story here to be
