Life
hello all,
here we are, mid 50's, 3 yrs from our 40th reunion. many of us are thankful to be alive and are counting our blessings. i know i am. i have had several small strokes, have small vessel disease and advanced 'stiff parkinson's disease'. i still keep as active as i am able.
i have written poetry since 1968 and my book of thoughts and poetry, THE SEASONS OF MY LIFE, is about to be released in soft bound & adobe e-books. i have also taken up acrylic painting, making dolls, & macro flower photography. these are just a few of the items on a very long 'life' list that i will continue to work on.
major pleasures in my life are: dancing in our livingroom with my husband of 26 yrs., enjoying our grown children & grandchildren, & just being w...Expand for more
ith family friends and loved ones (pets included).
i enjoy (ed): working side by side with my husband (doing anything and everything), working in our garden sanctuary, horseback riding, driving motorcycles (now a handicap scooter), walking along the beach, camping, swimming,
hiking, working on cars made before 1970, dispatching and working as an emt-1a on emergency ambulances, being an account executive, working as a hospital emergency room technichian, working as a gas station attendant and waitress.
i have been and continue to be richly blessed.
don't wait too long to work on your 'life' list ... forgive everyone everything ... make no heart-room for hate ... tell those you love, you love them, often ... have no regrets ... be compassionate ... help others
