Barbara's Story
Leaving Washington state was pretty hard but it got easier with each move. Rockwall, TX; Manhattan, NY; Clearwater, FL; Danville, CA; and now Kapolei, HI. It doesn't get much better.
I've been enjoying gardening in the red dirt & exotic flowers - stuff I used to think only old ladies did. Ed & I are avid snorkelers/scuba divers and 'go down' with our club every other Saturday. And I thought the sights above land are gorgeous...
We said a final good bye to our kitty friends in December before coming to Hawaii. They allowed us in their lives 18 long and wonderful years. Their departure was truly devastating.

Joan of Arc struck me as a true renaissance heroine in that she was fearless and 'hell bent' on accomplishing her mission despite all the men who got in her way and ultimately killed her.
I worked at Comcast with 7 HD screens in my face, I overcame my fear of snakes; hate reality shows; am still stuck on my 3 soaps and would like to become an Animal Cop.
No kids. It was a good decision & I"m sticking with it.
