Curtis's Story
Life
Graduated from Ga. State in 1964 with degree in English Lit. Served in Army after college in 82d Abn Div, got grad degree in 1972, entered United Methodist Ministry. I retired in the summer of 2004, but continue to work with my wife in Cartersville ministry. Live with wife, Angela (another minister) and daughter Keila (adopted from Honduras). Bicycle for fun, read and write book reviews for local string of papers, Travel and archaeology are my favorite things. We work with inner city kids here...have a large after school program with 115 kids a day. We feed them and do a va...Expand for more
riety of programs with them, and we do a number of community outreach ministries. Angela and I live on our own acreage near Barnsley Gardens north of Atlanta off I75. We have a custom built log home at the top of a mountain with a great view. I have a great little John Deere tractor to play with, still keep up some shooting for fun, and have a shop with tools I have collected and which I inherited from my dad. Angela and I play Renaissance musical instruments together for fun.
