I am the rescue worker for the Newfoundload Club of America for the New York area. I have been doing rescue for 15 years. I get them in, rehab them and rehome them. I have written a book on Rescue, and have been published quite a few times in various mags,Suffolk Life, and the Wading River Journal. my training. I have a kennel where I do my work with the Newfies that I get in. I have had abused, sick and aggressive dogs that I have had to work with. sometimes the rehab is not easy but the end result is always the greatest reward. I was a hairdresser for awhile out of school but I would rather work on the animals, they are always nicer and way more grateful!
