Carla's Story

Life After high school, I attended BCC for a couple years, then transferred to Bemidji, where I received my teaching degrees in English and French. I married Shawn Olsen in 1996, and gave birth to our first son, Derek in July, 1997. After working in the Computer Services Office at Bemidji State University for a few years,we moved to Roseau. g English and Keyboarding (no French position available) at Roseau High School. In June 2001, we had our second son, Trevor. Keyboarding was dropped from my schedule and ESL was added. We had our third son, Nolan, in July 2004, and our daughter, Gabriella, in August, 2005. Currently, I'm busy with motherhood, teaching part time, and a few other odd jobs.
