Life
Greetings to all from the South! Not just West Mifflin South, but the DEEP south...Southaven, Mississippi. I have been here for 30+ years and I'm currently the Sr. Project/Facility/Maintenance Manager for Distribution for an international 3PL/BPO company. I am responsible for four facilities covering over 2.1 million sq. ft. I was the Purchasing Manager for a multi-national company until Jan. 2001 before accepting the Facilities/Safety/Security Manager position at another 3PL company. I accepted my current position in June of 2004.

Workplace
I am the Director, Shared Services for Distribution of an international BPO company with Facilities, Transportation, Maintenance, Security and Purchasing all reporting to me. I recently traveled to Belgium as part of a project upgrade and client review and I am looking forward to going back and working on other projects there.

ife stuff: My nineteen year old daughter came home during Christmas break and informed me that she and her boyfriend had gotten married on 12/20! She has committed to finished her education while he is serving in the military, oh, did I fail to mention that he just enlisted in the Army and has been away at boot camp since October and this was his first time off??? Gee, how forgetful of me. Anyway, they are now planning a church wedding for March, though it is beyond my understanding at this point in the game. UPDATE: My daughter graduated colleg and has been married for almost five years.
My son is a senior at College, majoring in <Music>, minoring in growing up, which he needs to do quickly. You just can't charm your way through life forever and the piper is waiting just over the next ridge. UPDATE: My son is now a Police Officer serving in Mississippi. He gets it honestly, I have been involved in security for facilities for over twenty years.
