Sherry's Story
In Oct. of 2007 I was diaginoised with breast cancer. I've had 3 surgeries and went through radiation treatment.I'm now in remission and have a 25% chance it could come back. So sorry to disappoint the ones from school but I'm still here. For those who was my friends thank you for standing by me in my time of need. When I found out i had cancer all I could think about was my children(and husband). I knew that I had to fight for them. I wanted them to remember me my youngest is six and she isn't old enough to remember me. I am still fighting for them I'm not ready to leave them yet. ave alot of bad days still, that will change as I get my energy back. Even if you didn't like me in school I really don't care because that was childish and petty. There is so much more in life that you can enjoy and do. People ask me don't you miss friends from high school ? I can say no. I'm not trying to be hateful but I really just didn't care for high school that much. My life is complete now I have everything that I need and want. I won't be attending the 20 year reunion because basically I would have to be drunk to be around some of the people I went to school with. I'm not allowed to drink anymore. I'm just enjoying my life with my family.
