Robert's Story
Okay, finally, 45 years later, here is what's up with that kid you played and went to school with:
Here is what is most important to me now:
I got married to Susan over 30 years ago and we have three children Eve, Ben and Leah. They are all busy. Eve is a screenwriter in LA (google Eve Weston, IMDB, currently working on sitcom Better With You to be on ABC this fall), Ben is married and an attorney, and Leah is getting her MBA. They are well and happy. We live in La Jolla, California.
They all grew up in and we still live in a house I built (owner builder) in La Jolla, California, close to the UCSD campus. I walked to work most of my career. We all swim together annually in the La Jolla Rough Water Swim every September. Ben has won a number of times as he is a great swimmer (NCAA champion and Olympic trials).
I started swimming myself here 30 years ago and try to go as often as possible in the ocean in La Jolla Cove. I am a physician, and my office is near the Cove at 210 Coast Blvd. It is a small family practice that Susan and I manage together. I spend a lot of time ...Expand for more
with patients and enjoy it tremendously (3 days a week).
I haven't done this or any facebook stuff over the years but I have always been overly nostalgic about Sussex and my classmates nonetheless. I have tried to emulate my small town life and values we grew up with in many ways over the years.
I wish you all, all the best and welcome any of my friends to email, call or visit if you are in the area. It would give me great pleasure to see you again. I will post some photos shortly. I have enjoyed seeing yours and appreciate your interest in reconnecting.
