Linda's Story

Life Life has been amusing,devastating,sad joyful,all rolled into one.Since my accident I have learned patience,a little wisdom about the unfortunate,humility,and yes undying love a candle that never really goes out, even when your at your death bed,unfailing and undying love shows through all the heart ache , and it heals in time! I have learned so much, and sometimes I get angry at myself because I want it all back, My memories,the way I walked, the way I used to converse with others. Then I look at my grandchildren and ask them if there embarresed of me,and a trickle of tears comes to my eyes, when they answer WHY WOULD WE BE EMBARRESED. YOUR OUR MIMI...IN A SOFT VOICE SO THEY CANT HEAR I SAY THANK YOU DEAR LORD! I hope old friends remember in a positive way! My name was linda johnson...it has been petree going on 29 years now....i married the most wonderful man...his name is donald (augie) petree...we have three girls all over the age of 21,five grandchildren..in the year 1986 i had a near drowning a 500 pound lawnmower which i was driving,tipped over on top of me in a ditch full of muddy water.. broke my back,arms and legs.in the hospital from july 17,1986-sept 2 1988 , in a coma for approx 4 months..so i had to relearn everything all over again...1 year outpatient at T.B.I.i do have a deeper faith in a god. my memories are there but not a lot...i do not weigh a 120 anymore...im big...i hate it ..i babysit alot my youngest is an rn..so i babysit for her..my oldest works for mental health,she just received an award...my...Expand for more
middle child has her own business,..my youngest is an rn...isnt it ironic all my girls are in a buisness helping peoples needs... School i attended neidermier for grade school...airport for high school...mccc for 1/2 semester..wanted to be a teacher... College i do not remember aloti only went to college for a semester I always wanted to be a teacher when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were i will never know. WALK OR BATHE I always wanted to be a evangelish when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a bad ideal idea. As it turns out, they were i guess right. TAKE A HOT JACUZZI AND OR BATH ALSO WALKING ALONG TIME MY THREE LITTLE GIRLS AND ONE NIECE THEY SAVED MY LIFE ON JULY 17,1986 The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is SHIRLEY STOVALL, because I MISS OUR FRIENDSHIP. If I could improve my home, I'd remodel MY BASEMENT and add on a A BACK DECK OUTSIDE MY BEDROOM. My dream home would be WHAT I HAVE NOW. My current age is 52. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be RICH OR DEAD. I was so completely DUMB BLONDE. In 10 years, I hope to be TRAVELING. I'm going to get there by PLANE. walk! and or yell at my spouce! My husband, yes we fight, but through all we have stuck together.HE IS MY LOVER, FRIEND,CONFIDANT,SHOULDER TO CRY ON,AND I CRY ALOT THESE DAYS! THROUGH EVERYTHING HE HAS BEEN THERE FOR ME!
