Beth's Story
Life
I have a degree as a Biomedical Technician dedicated and used my technical skill in helping others. I used my basic skill acquired in college working in Saudi Arabia for three years as a Senior Biomedical Engineer for Whittaker Saudi Arabia Ltd. in the set up the JCH safety program, repairing, and training on the use of their medical equipment. On my return from Saudi Arabia I worked for Bennett X-Ray as their National Service Manager, Field Engineer, and Trainer. I applied expert skills in initiating and implementing training courses for the domestic and international markets in the use and repair of manufactured x-ray equipment which help the company to grow from a mom and pop company that was worth 40 million to a buyer of coarse I was out of a job. I traveled extensively to provide on-site service support and training courses, including sites located in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Australia. I was instrumental in the start-up and growth of the national service department where none had existed, also improved the manuals, wrote service-aid bulletins, retro-fit instructions, QA and interfaced effectively with engineers in the communications ...Expand for more
of service related product improvements. I also work at a position were she implemented coarse training material and trained on the company manufactured in-flight entertainment system to the flight attendants and line maintenance personnel.
My other achievements include working as a Layout Artist for Diamond Match, which supports the layout and design of the manuals, training material, and the Computer Base Training. I am still working to improve her communication and training skills through Toastmaster and the American Society for Training and Development. I am currently attending college for Technical Management in order to improve her management skills and acquire the up-to-date computer knowledge on multimedia authoring, web development, and computer graphics.
I am interested in helping other and is involved with a new program called Casa de Escuela this is a new learn to read program for the Spanish families that a underprivileged in our neighborhoods. I have been also involved with G.L.A.D. God Loves All Disabilities it is so rewarding taking care of the clients and seeing there faces. That is just a few of the charities she tries and to help.
