Alyssa's Story
Life
Hi everyone. I graduated from UCSD in 1996 with a BA in Math and Theatre. I spent my summers during college teaching drama at sleep-away camps on the east coast. Then I moved back home, got my teaching credential and taught math and science at Oroville High School for three years. I went back to grad school (UCSB this time), finished my Master's in Dramatic Literature, History and Criticism and did most of the PhD before deciding I'd had just about enough school ...Expand for more
for a while. Right now I tutor math privately and work for an international playwriting competition for plays about science and technology. Not married yet, but in a very committed relationship -- we have a cat and a plane and do major home remodeling and everything! :) Much more domestic-y than I ever thought I'd be -- but very happy. Oh -- and I just learned to scuba dive! What are other people up to now? I'd love to hear from anyone who feels like dropping me a line.
