Beverly's Story
Life
I am at the point where I want to slow down. My life has been full of work, school, and raising a family. The kids are all in college (ages 24, 21, and 19) and I am taking a couple (or few) years off from college myself. I plan to spend more time working on renewing the house and working on the lawn, and then I am going to spend some time having fun!
I have had several fabulous cruise and all-inclusive resort vacations in beautiful places around the world, and I hope to be able to make plans to do that again.
School

experienced more of the "school" days "school friends" life. I grew up way too early and never had the chance to be a kid. I do thank the Lord for my young attitude now. I may be 40 something, but my ego still sees me at 30! I must be trying to make up for those years I blew over!
College
Washtenaw Community College - Business Admin.
Michigan Tech. University - Engineering
Baker College - Business Management
Workplace
I started working for General Motors in 1977. I held various salaried positions at a few GM facilities in the Ypsilanti area for many years and then worked as an engineer in Pontiac and at GM Tech Center before landing at Milford Proving Ground as Hybrid Project Manager.
After pursuing engineering, I received a degree in Business Management in hopes to prepare myself to teach college students, should I desire additional income after retiring from GM.
