Beth's Story
I married David Warner the love of my life. We started our family. We had a beautiful little blond girl we named Teena. Three years later we moved to Cedartown, and I gave birth to a beautiful little red headed girl we named Andred. David worked for Polk School District and I was a stay at home mom. I loved being at home with my girls.
When the girls started to school I went to work in the school system, and started to school part time. Then I quit work to go to school full time. I was an honor graduate from WGC. I got my teaching certificate. I graduated in March, and started to work as soon as I graduated. I loved teaching. I taught until David retired then I took an early retirement. I ran for School Board and was elected. I served for four years. Then David and I decided we were going to travel.
We went to Italy, Hawaii, and Alaska. What wonderful trips. We have traveled to many states around the US that we could drive to.
Life was going great for us until September 17,2006 our baby daughter was killed in an ATV roll over accident. Her two boys were on it with her. It is still hard ...Expand for more
to believe she is gone. She lived next door to us. I not only lost my daughter I lost my best friend.
Teena lives in Woodstock. She lived in New York City for about a year and a half. She and her boys loved it there. It is good to have her back in GA.
We have four grandsons. The oldest is 19 and going to college and our youngest is 12. We enjoy spending time with each of the boys.
It is great to be married to your best friend. We have been through a lot and we are still very close.
Another big change in our lives happened this year 2012. We moved back to Tallapoosa. Fay Allen McClendon was going to sell her house at 409 Bowdon St. So we bought it. It is a great house and we love it. We have many events at our home. One of our favorite things is storytelling. The third Thursday of each we have storytelling at our home. I has been wonderful. Great group of people come and we enjoying hearing the stories different people have to share. God has been good to us. I still miss Andrea everyday, but our new house has given me a new out look on life. If you are ever in Tallapoosa come by and see us.
