Harold T.'s Story
Life
Retired Electrical Engineer. Graduated from N. C. State Univ. in 1963. Reside in Woodstock in the greater metro area of Atlanta, GA. Have had a good life. Here is hoping that all others have too. Have been married one time for 10 years and then divorced. Have two sons (college grads Univ. of GA) two grandaughters (I love them all.) Part of my work was as an Independent Contractor. Have worked around this country from border to border and coast to coast and on foreign soil in south seas.
I loved New Orleans, when I lived there long ago. If one had to get a divorce, that had to be the best place ever to get it. I loved the Western part of the USA. Calif., Seattle and Salt Lake City were great. The Rocky Mountains are very scenic. The park on Mt. Raineer near Seattle provided great hiking trails. Yellowstone Park is a great place to visit. retty place to live.
Detroit, CT. and St. Louis were much too cold for me in the winters. Spent quite a bit of time in Brazil on R & R for the 18 months overseas work. That was great. Travelled some into Canada and into Mexico. Canada is a beautiful country. I am now retired near Alanta, GA.
I am happy to stay in one place from now on and find interesting people and interesting things to do.
Military
Was drafted into the US Army in 1955. Served an 8-year Military Obligation. I enjoyed my time in the Army. I had an urge to roam and to see just what life was all about. It started with the Military and continued thereafter. I loved New Orleans, and I loved the West. I enjoyed my time in/near Wahington, DC. It was too hot in Florida and too cold in the North East/New England States. As for fun, it would be impossible for me to see how anyone could have had more.
