Robert's Story
After leaving Academie de la Salle, I spent 28 years in the Canadian military serving in most provinces of Canada, Germany, Cyprus and France. In Saumur at l'ecole de la cavalerie et de l'arme blindee, I reluctantly learned to ride horse and speak the other French.
When I retired from the military, I spent 2 years in the Public Service after which, I was lured in to the high tech industry for 12 years.
A couple of years ago, my wife Catherine lured me back to scuba...Expand for more
diving, a sport I left shortly after leaving l'academie. Retired, we now spend a great deal of our time teaching diving. In February 2009, we return to the island diving paradise of Bonaire for the third time. We will spend 7 weeks honing our underwater photographic and video skills.
I have 2 sons, one living in Ottawa and the other living in Calgary. My wife Catherine has one daughter living in Ottawa and preparing to move to Japan for a year to teach English.
