Patricia's Story
Life
I worked a few years after high school; married for the first time. Divorced; no children, remarried an Air Force man; had two boys. Traveled the world; divorced 20 years later. I ended up staying in Montana; at least for now. Both sons live here; My older son, tom, has 6 children. My younger son is in the Air Force and is living here now permanently. I have a roommate that is my partner and we have a good relationship. I never finished my college; no need to for now, w/ having my knowledge and experience. I travel a lot, and I love my home; on the river; no neighbors; lots of privacy and seclusion.

Workplace
For the first 14 years, I've worked w/ schizophrenic adults. I loved my work because I'd found that it was what I was good at doing; and I did it very well. I also loved the fact that I worked independently and could flex my hours however I needed to. Therefore, I'd put in 3 long hour days, and I have 4 days off every week; w/ vacation time accruing.
Now, for the last few yrs, I've been working on the air force base here in montana.
Military
My second husband that I had my two boys w/; and was married to him for 20 years; we were stationed in Rome, N.Y., Memmingen, Germany, Grand Forks, North Dakota, and Great Falls, Montana; which is where I've remained.
Present
I remain in Montana. I continue to enjoy my work and am also pursuing other avenues of interests for a new and different career. Time to move on. Life is too short.
