Life After getting BA in Computer Science in 1982, worked for Bell & Howell for 15 years. Currently working as a Senior Systems Programmer for ACXIOM Corporation. Bicycled the South Island of New Zealand Moutain Climbed in the Himalaya's Toured France on Bicycle summer of 2004 Early in 2005, I started dating Caroline Swann, who I meet through my cycling club. We found ourself falling in love. I propose to her on May 10 and on September 3, 2005 we were married. The wedding took place at my parents place on Middle Island Point Road. We are going to China for a two (2) week honeymoon. Caroline and I hav done some traveling, Our trip/honeymoon to China was interesting. Mountain Biking/Hike, walking through China. Something we will never forget. The following year we went to Hawaii for a 10 day cruse, and cycling tour of the Islands. We did a lot of riding, road part of the Ironman course. School I went to Whitman Elementary for grades K-6. A couple of things that I do remember was in 3rd grade being select for a test class. We had either 14 or 15 students it was great because the teacher could spend more time with each student. Another thing was in sixth grade, my teacher was a good friend of the family. If anything would happened, my parents usally knew about it before I did. Jr High 7th grade was a very interesting, for the first time I had to take a bus to school. The bus stop was at the corner of Norway Ave. and Magnetic St, and I lived on Norway St. and Center St. It was a five block walk. Spring and Fall was ok, but when winter rolled in forget it. I had good teachers but Graveraet was a very old building and to me was not a nice place to learn. I remember in one of my industrial arts class one of the guys cut off part of his finger on a band saw. Jr High 8th grade was even more interesting, new middle school opened. Bothwell was a state of the art school. The four major classes (Math,Englist,Science, and Social Studies) were part of a cluster. A cluster was a large room that had movable walls allowing each instructor have the own class space. My social studies teacher (Mr. Bulloc) was a student of my fathers. One of the chapters he was teaching dealt with city planning. My father at that time was the chairman of the University's and County planning boards. I came to school, and guess what my father shows up for a special class on planning. It was so wierd. High School College When I graduated from H.S. I was determined to make something of myself. My older brother and sister went to NMU while I went away to college. 5 Years later I graduated from DeVRY Institute of Technology in Chicago with a Computer Science Degree.
