Hmmmmm.
Im single and have no kids ( thank god)
that much has not changed.
ive got a house with a monster garage ( of course), a sportbike and a couple 4 wheelers.
im lucky enough to be doing what i love to do at work.
i basically get to play with prototype cars and engines all day, and travel all across the country and canada testing prototype cars. I work for GM, Powertrain Engineering Division at GM's proving grounds in Milford, MI.

Workplace
I work at the GM Proving Grounds, Powertrain Engineering division in Milford, MI.
I do development work on 60/90 degree V6 engines. I travel to places like Las Vegas, Denver, Phoenix, San Diego, Key West, Northern Canada as well as many other places to support development testing on prototype and pre-production vehicles in different climates and altitudes.
The prototype vehicle 'spy photos' you see in car magazines...well those are old news to me, as I have already been working on those vehicles years prior to said photos.
There is just something about testing and thrashing $300,000 prototype and pre production vehicles that makes me smile :-D
