Jean's Story
Life
My Brother-----David Wright graduated 1978 died of a sudden heart attack on June 8, 2004. He was only 44 years old. Also, Connie Wright is my sister that graduated in 1979. This has really hit our family very hard. He was our only brother. He's greatly missed by my family. We are still grieving.
My husband and I live in Round Rock, Texas. It's located 15 miles north of Austin, Texas.
On July 12, 1980, I married Stan Davis. We celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary 2005. We renewed our wedding vows and had a beautiful church wedding. You can see my photo. You will see my parents on my right and Stan's Dad on his left. Stan's Mom had been in the nursing home for two years. She has alzemeigher's. She's 83 years old. It's a sad situation. We don't have any children because I DIDN'T want any and we are very happy. My husband graduated from Bethany Nazarene College in 1978. His major was Business Administration. y until 1987 and moved to Austin, Texas. My husband was born and raised in Austin. He has worked for Motorola, Inc. for seven years then the company split and now he is working at Freescale. He is also a finance advisor.
We have had our ups and downs but we are so happy and enjoy being together each day. Our get-away is going to Corpus Christi or Port Aransas at least once or twice a year. I love to hear the ocean.
Like some of you, I will turn 51 years old September 23. I don't like birthdays or surprises. So, my husband buys me a card and that's all I can handle. It's a childhood thing. It was always a nightmare for me. I would love to skip my birthday completely.
I have two nieces ages 10 and 12 that keeps me on my toes. They come down during Christmas break and the summer. They attend Bethany School. My parents are raising them even tho my father is in bad health and Connie (never married) is living next door to my parents in Bethany helping my parents with the girls. It's my adopted sister--Mary's children. She is on drugs and can't take care of them.
