After high school I spent a couple of years sputtering around. After one particularly poor semester at U of H I received my draft notice. I actually had a great time in the army. Had it not been for a years soiree in south east Asia I might have remained in the army. After leaving the service I moved to Baton Rouge, LA to open a business with my brother. I spent several more years in business for myself in sales but was never really happy. I made a career change in the early eighties and started working as an inspector in the chemical plants. I was happier but still lacked something. I opened my own residential construction company in the mid eighties and found my calling. I have been building and remodeling homes ever since.
